Board of Directors

Dr Michele Allan AO
Non-Executive Chair
Dr Allan has a Bachelor of Applied Science from University Technology Sydney, a Master of Management (Technology) from the University of Melbourne, a Doctor of Business Administration from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology and a Master of Commercial Law from Deakin University. She is also a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. In January 2023, Dr Allan was made an Officer in the Order of Australia for distinguished service to the agricultural, food production and business sectors, and to tertiary education.
Michele commenced as a Non-Executive Director of Terragen in November 2023 and became Chair on 6 February 2026.

Andrew Guthrie
Non-Executive Director
Andrew spent most of his senior leadership years with Syngenta in Asia, as Regional Director for Asia Pacific, before he was promoted to lead Syngenta’s multi-billion dollar business in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He was part of its global crop protection leadership team responsible for business strategy that leveraged Syngenta’s extensive research and development capability to invent, gain regulatory approval and launch new products, to agricultural markets globally. In 2019 Mr Guthrie retired from executive management roles and now acts as a company director and mentor. Andrew has a strong understanding of corporate governance and the risk management required to successfully grow business in emerging markets.
Andrew commenced as a Non-Executive Director of Terragen in July 2024.
Executive Team

Richard Norton
CEO and Managing Director
Richard’s experience also includes time as Managing Director of Meat and Livestock Australia, where he delivered global branding strategies for the red meat industry and ushered in sustainability targets. As Managing Director of Landmark Operations and as General Manager Retail at Elders, he held responsibility for annual turnover of $1b and $90m EBITS with ASX listed companies.
Richard is a highly experienced Non-Executive Director, currently on the board of Grain Growers Limited and PrimeSafe Victoria. He has also sat on the boards of Agrium Asia Pacific, Australian Wheat Board, RD1 New Zealand, Landmark Harcourts, Australian Wool Handlers, Australian Independent Rural Retailers, Titan AG, Integrated Traceability Solutions (Chair), and AuctionsPlus (Chair).
Richard commenced in the role of CEO and Managing Director of Terragen on 1 February 2024.

Joss West
Chief Operating Officer
She concurrently completed an MBA through Griffith University. Joss joined Terragen in 2022 as Head of Veterinary Science and has recently been appointed Chief Operating Officer. Joss is in the business of sustainable agricultural solutions and achieving profitable results for producers through preventative health and management strategies.

Daniel Pearce
Chief Financial Officer & Joint Company Secretary
Daniel has more than 10 years’ experience across commercial finance and advisory, having previously held roles with ANZ and Deloitte. Prior to joining Terragen as Financial Controller in 2025, Daniel held senior executive finance roles, leading financial strategy, reporting, and governance across a range of industries.
Daniel was appointed Chief Financial Officer and Co-Company Secretary in July 2026

Roger McPherson
Joint Company Secretary
Prior to joining Terragen, Roger was the CFO and Company Secretary for a number of SMEs both listed and unlisted including Bio-Gene Technology Limited, Patrys Limited and eChoice Home Loans. In these roles he was responsible for all financial affairs and corporate administration as well as assisting in investor relations activities. He has over 20 years of biotechnology, agtech and pharmaceutical experience.
In addition to his role with Terragen, Roger also provides CFO and Company Secretarial services to other listed and unlisted entities. Roger has a B. Bus (Accounting) – Curtin University, is a member of CPA Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Roger commenced with Terragen as CFO & Company Secretary on 11 August 2025 and stepped down as CFO on 7 July 2026
