Terragen Probiotic Ultra for Ruminants is a high-performance probiotic designed for beef feedlots, shown to improve liveweight gain and productivity in beef cattle. It contains a source of live (viable), naturally occurring micro-organisms, which help to enhance the gastrointestinal microflora and promote digestive health.
Research has shown a daily dose of Probiotic Ultra for Ruminants can:
- Increase ADG by 4.6%
- Improve FCR by 12.8%
- Increase marbling by 7%
- +$57 benefit per carcass
- Adult cattle – 0.05g-0.1g per head per day
- Calves/Lambs – 0.025g-0.05g per head per day
Lactobacillus (L. casei, L. buchneri, L. paracasei), maltodextrin (as excipient). Each 1g contains a minimum of 130 billion (1.3 x 1011) live microbes.
Probiotic for Ruminants Ultra can be mixed into the ration via a mixer wagon (pre-dispersal in water recommended). 1g of Terragen Probiotic for Ruminants Ultra dissolves in 500mL of water. Probiotic Ultra for Ruminants is stable in all feed types. It should be ingested within 48 hours of application.

18 months (room temperature) or 24 months (<4oC) from the date of manufacture. Refer to the product label on the packet to find the date. Once opened, reseal any remaining product in airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 10 days.
